MUST SEE! Best TV Series Of All Time: Do You Agree?

Numerous TV series have gotten a lot of us addicted at one point of our lives. Here’s a list of some of the best TV series ever.

Game of Thrones (2011).

Game of Thrones is an HBO series that tells the story of a medieval country’s civil war. The series, which premiered in April 2011, is set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos in a world where seasons stretch on for years. When the story begins, a decade-long summer is ending, and winter looms as characters battle to claim the “Iron Throne,” the seat of the king of the Seven Kingdoms, the regime that rules all but the northern tip of Westeros. In show parlance, “sit on the Iron Throne” is a metonym equivalent to “rule Westeros.”

Prison Break (2005).

This was a movie for guys especially as it was about two brothers, Lincoln Burrows, one of whom has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit due to a political conspiracy, and the other (Michael Scofield) who devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name.

Merlin (2008).

Merlin is a reimagining of the legend in which the future King Arthur and Merlin are young contemporaries. Arthur’s father Uther Pendragon has banned magic in Camelot, its use punishable by death, forcing Merlin to keep his magical powers secret from everyone in Camelot other than his mentor Gaius. Arthur grows from a young, self-absorbed boy to the mighty king in the legends, and Merlin develops into his colossal role in creating the powerful Camelot.

24 (2001).

This is one of the oldest seasonal movies of all time. It is a crime thriller, espionage and action filled movie and quite intense. Each season, comprising 24 episodes, covers 24 hours in Bauer’s life using the real time method of narration.

Kyle XY (2006).

This TV series set a lot of people to find their love for science as this movie was filled with calculations and scientific formulas. The central character is a teenage boy (Matt Dallas) who awakens naked in a forest outside Seattle, Washington, with no more knowledge or abilities than a newborn and no belly button. He is taken in by a family and given the name Kyle. The series follows Kyle as he tries to solve the puzzles of who he is and why he has no memory before that day. The show premiered June 26, 2006, on the ABC Family cable channel. However, On January 31, 2009, ABC Family announced that Kyle XY would not return for a fourth season.

The Big Bang Theory(2007).

The Big Bang Theory is an American television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom served as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro. All three also served as head writers. The show premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007 and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast a total of 279 episodes over 12 seasons.

The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny, a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon’s similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali.Over time, supporting characters were promoted to starring roles, including neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler, microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski, physicist Leslie Winkle, and comic book store owner Stuart Bloom.

The Vampire Diaries(2009).

Based on novels of the same name, Vampire Diaries follows Elena, a young heroine, who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers. Four months after the tragic car accident that killed their parents, 17-year-old Elena Gilbert and her 15-year-old brother, Jeremy are still trying to cope with their grief and move on with their lives. Elena has always been the star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends, but now she finds herself struggling to hide her sadness from the world.
As the school year begins, Elena and her friends are fascinated by a handsome and mysterious new student, Stefan Salvatore. Stefan and Elena are immediately drawn to one another, and Elena has no way of knowing that Stefan is a centuries-old vampire, struggling to live peacefully among humans, while his brother Damon is the embodiment of vampire violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers – one good, one evil – are at war for Elena’s soul and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
