Date Rush: Lining Up On Live Television For Love Is Glorified Prostitution- Counsellor Lutterodt
Controversial counsellor George Lutterodt has surged an attack of the well-loved and entertaining Date Rush show and has called the act glorified prostitution.
According to the counsellor who is known for his harsh statements, going on national television to find love is nothing but a glorified way of launching one’s self into prostitution.
To him, he doesn’t see the reason why young people wouldn’t find better ways of looking for their partners than to line up and struggle over a few people with given rules.
He explained that there should be a different way of vetting people who want to find their love partners rather than on live TV.
“you meet a guy on TV and they give you the things you can ask the guy, … all of a sudden on TV you ask the guy and he says I like you, what are the things you know about the person?” He said
“I think that it is prostitution glorified if you ask me. That we are glorifying prostitution but using other mediums to invite people to practice ‘ashawo in disguise,’ The controversial counsellor added.
Date Rush is one of the most loved TV shows in recent times which was launched by TV3 one of Ghana’s most innovative broadcasting channels.
